Send us your favorite photographs of Goa! Whether it’s a picture of Granddad snoozing on the ‘pial’ or snow white Portuguese churches nestling against the hillside - we want to see the photographs that best describe your idea of Goa.

The best 3 photographs will win fabulous prizes and all the photographs from the final selection round will be displayed at the upcoming World Goa Day event. The panel of judges is headed by our very own celebrated photographer – Ryan Lobo!

Please include a caption describing your photograph, along with your name.

How to submit your entry: Email digital copies of your photographs with captions to goans@kgabangalore.com with the subject “World Goa Day Photo Contest”. If you don’t have a digital copy, you can submit your prints to any of the KGA committee members.

The St Francis Xavier Feast will be celebrated this year with the same fervour, pomp and grandeur that has been the tradition over the years.

It’s the time to honour St Francis Xavier during the Holy Mass (in Konkani) and appreciate and sing along with the wonderful choir organized by Mafalda Quadros and her melodious singers!

Its also the time “to catch up” with each other, renew friendships, have a sumptuous dinner and “shake a leg” to the awesome music which we have planned for you!!
